The Master’s Palette (“Master’s Palette”) is designed to help artists analyze color, value, reference images, and painting-related information while keeping user data as private as practical.
Information We Collect
Master’s Palette does not require an account and does not ask you to provide your name, email address, phone number, or other personal profile information in order to use the app.
Master’s Palette does not intentionally collect personal information for advertising, tracking, profiling, or sale to third parties.
Photos and Camera
Master’s Palette allows you to select images from your photo library or capture images using your device camera.
Images selected or captured in Master’s Palette are used to provide the app’s color, value, image-simplification, paint-mixing, and related analysis features.
Reference images are processed on your device.
Master’s Palette does not intentionally upload your selected reference images to our servers.
If you capture a photo from within Master’s Palette, the app may save that photo to your device’s Photos library when that feature is enabled and you have granted permission.
Master’s Palette does not modify or delete other photos in your library.
Local App Data
Master’s Palette may store certain information locally on your device, including:
- app settings and preferences
- Flash Card scores and personal-best results
- information required to preserve app behavior between sessions
This information is stored locally and is not intentionally transmitted to us.
Color, Value, and Paint-Mixing Analysis
Master’s Palette analyzes color and value information from images selected by the user.
Paint-mixing and related features may also use the app’s internal color and paint information to provide artistic guidance.
These calculations are intended as tools for artists and do not require an account or the submission of personal information.
Analytics and Tracking
Master’s Palette does not intentionally use your activity for cross-app or cross-site tracking.
Master’s Palette does not sell personal information.
If analytics, crash reporting, cloud services, or other third-party services are added to a future version of the app, this Privacy Policy and the app’s App Store privacy disclosures will be updated where appropriate.
Third-Party Software
Master’s Palette is built using software frameworks and libraries that help provide application functionality.
Some of these components may be provided by third parties. We aim to use them only as necessary to operate the app.
The privacy practices of any third-party services included in a released version of Master’s Palette will be reflected in our App Store privacy disclosures where required.
Children’s Privacy
Master’s Palette is a general-purpose art utility and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because the app does not require user accounts or intentionally collect identifying information, we do not knowingly maintain personal profiles of children.
Data Retention and Deletion
Master’s Palette does not maintain user accounts or a remote database of user-created profiles.
Information stored locally by the app can generally be removed by deleting the app from your device.
Photos saved to your Photos library remain under your control and can be managed or deleted using Apple’s Photos app.
Security
Master’s Palette is designed to minimize the amount of user information that must leave the device.
No method of electronic storage or software operation can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we aim to limit unnecessary collection and exposure of user data.

We may update this Privacy Policy as Master’s Palette evolves.
When material changes are made, the effective date at the top of this page will be updated.
